Dr. Voruz is committed to creating a safe space for her clients to explore themselves and confront the barriers to making changes in their lives. She welcomes clients from all backgrounds.
Dr. Voruz enjoys working with a diversity of emotional and relationship issues. She works with individuals and couples and hopes to create group therapy experiences in the near future. She has particular knowledge and experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, emotional and physical abuse, identity issues (including sexual identity), and self-criticism. Her thesis and dissertation focused on self-compassion, which she often brings into her clinical work.
Dr. Voruz is excited to explore the interplay of floating and psychotherapy and hopes to collaborate with the Float Shoppe to scientifically research its effects.
